Finished garage floor at floor level, gray flake

Garages

Garage floors built for hot tires, oil and real use

A diamond-ground slab, an epoxy or polyurea base, a full flake broadcast and a polyaspartic topcoat. Garages to industrial, across Atlanta and surrounding areas.

Finished garage floor — Final Finish install

What you get

What a Final Finish garage floor includes

Full flake broadcast

Flake is broadcast to refusal across the entire slab, then scraped flat, so the floor reads as one continuous surface instead of a sprayed pattern.

Polyaspartic topcoat

A UV-stable topcoat that resists hot-tire pickup, cleans up with a mop, and holds its gloss.

Coated stem walls & aprons

We grind and coat the stem walls and finish the apron edge, so there is no raw concrete line left at the perimeter.

Long-Term Warranties

A written warranty on the system. Ask what is covered for your slab at the consultation.

What changes in a garage

Hot tires, road salt, a damp slab. We plan for all of it.

These are the four things we plan around before we quote a garage.

Hot tires

Hot-tire pickup is what lifts cheap roll-on coatings off a slab. The polyaspartic topcoat is the part that stops it.

Oil, brake fluid, road salt

The finished surface is sealed and non-porous, so spills wipe up instead of soaking into the concrete and staining it.

Stem walls, thresholds, aprons

Edges are where a garage floor looks unfinished. We grind and coat the stem walls and close the threshold and apron.

Moisture in the slab

We moisture-test before we quote. If the readings run high, a vapor barrier is added under the system.

The process

Six steps, start to finish

Most installs take one to two days. Walk on it in 4 hours, drive on it in 24.

  1. 01

    Inspect & measure

Concrete condition and a moisture test, measured on site.

  2. 02

    Diamond grind

We grind the slab to open the profile so the base can bond.

  3. 03

    Repair

Cracks, pits and spalled edges filled and shaped.

  4. 04

    Base coat

An epoxy or polyurea base. A vapor barrier is added under the system if moisture readings run high.

  5. 05

    Full flake

Flake broadcast to refusal across the whole floor, then scraped.

  6. 06

    Topcoat & walkthrough

Polyaspartic topcoat, then we walk the finished floor with you.

Projects start at $2,500

Confirmed on site after we measure the slab and take a moisture reading. We travel for larger jobs.

In-home consultation

We measure the slab, moisture-test it, and price the floor in front of you. No charge, no obligation.
